Shed Nights
SCCMEN run a "Men's Shed" night on the last Monday of each month. The Shed has 3 main focuses.
1. We make sure we have a great meal. A roast, gourmet bbq or great steak are favourites on the menu. You can be sure you'll get the best value $10 meal in town. All with a drink and dessert.
2. We regularly have a display of something that interests blokes. Unique cars, motor bikes, trail bikes, boats, push bikes, motor sport as well as special guests around health issues specific to men are often on agenda. It's great to have something to look at and chat about on a Shed night.
3. Each month we will interview someone about their life and journey. Sometimes it's someone you'll recognise, sometimes it's just someone like you and me. They are not there to preach or to tell us how to live our lives but to give us some insight into their journey, what they've learned and how their faith has intersected.
The Shed is held at the industrial estate 300m down the road from the church at 3/507 Olsen Ave, Southport.
